Overview

The most economically important disease of stone fruits worldwide. Can destroy entire cherry, peach, plum, and nectarine crops.

Fruit rots rapidly with brown, soft, water-soaked areas. Gray-brown spore masses develop in concentric rings. Fruit may mummify.
